Flexible, molded-polymer, moon clips provide a means of ejecting rimless cartridges from early and late model Smith & Wesson revolvers. High-strength, hydrocarbon polymer won’t rust, break or deform; fires 300-400+ rounds before requiring replacement. Loads easily by hand without the need for special tools or costly equipment. Great Product (2014-02-05)

Use them in my 1937 Brazilian and they work really well.

Splits under the rim after a dozen uses. (2010-06-14)

I have purchased 45 of the RIMZ 25 I have 25 that are still usable, what happens is that the thin lip that holds the rim of the 45 acp case splits and falls off after a dozen or so uses. Other than only 55% of them held up they are easy to load and unload. I have contacted the manufacture with no help.

Worked Great!! (2010-11-13)

Bought these almost a year ago, found the steel clips too hard to load and unload, even with the Brownell's tool. These have worked great and lasted for well over 600-700 rounds. Not too bad for a piece of plastic!!

Convenient for Practice, But Don't Drop! (2011-04-01)

What's Good: You can load and unload 'em without wrecking your fingers or using a tool of any kind. They drop into the gun and eject as easily and reliably as normal steel moon clips.

What's Bad: The rounds are not held very securely (obviously, if they'll succumb to light finger pressure), and if you drop a loaded clip, or handle it roughly, the rounds may scatter.

To Summarize: Fine for low-stress practice, but not for a match or defense. With that limitation, they're okay.

Excellent Moon Clips (2013-05-20)

Work perfect in my S&W Governor. EZ to load and unload by hand. Much sturdier then I expected. After 300 rounds of 45acp thru 1 pack (5 clips)they all held up great and still look brand new. I have dropped fully loaded clips w/o any of the rounds coming loose. I am confident to use in a home defense situation. Will be buying more!

not so good in my PC625 (2014-11-11)

Tried these at the range today in my PC625 and averaged 2 misfires per reload. Switched back to metal clips and zero issues. Using longer firing pin and CCI primers. (yes, the strain screw is tight). It "appears" these might absorb some of the cartridges (slight) forward motion and soften the firing pin strike.

They do load/unload easily, but the loaded clips feel a bit floppy.

If not for the misfires, I would happily use them for target practice.
