Den här passar inte till Marlin 1895, även om det står så i beskrivningen. Skuven är för tjock.

Does not fit on a Marlin 1895, even if the description says so. The screw is too big. Do not buy!!

dissapointing (2020-09-06)

it dosnt realy fit. i got it to fit by masicaly running the screw trew a die. it seams the screw is a little out of spec. i ran it back and forth trew a nut a bunch with polishing compaund to get it down to propper dimentions and once the tred is ground down a bit it fits and works. nut cant recomend

Incompatible with Marlin 1894 (Remington Marlin) (2018-11-17)

I decided to give this a shot with my 2018 Marlin 1894C, despite the negative reviews, and it's really beyond me why it doesn't fit. The original screw had a major diameter of 0,205", while the Quick Takedown Screw had a major diameter of 0,210".

The threading inside the trigger assembly must have been progressive (or wonky) as it was possible to thread in the quick takedown screw from the opposite side much further than in the proper direction.

All I can say is this product doesn't work my rifle.

Marlin 336 Takedown screw - great (2010-10-08)

Great workmanship, clean knurling, good fit. Speeds up take down for thorough cleaning from breech. Great for Cowboy Action shooters.

Handy Marlin accessory (2012-09-13)

Fitted to a 336 444Marlin to replace the standard lever pivot screw. Much more convenient to remove lever and bolt for cleaning from breech end or rifle maintenance. Low profile dosen't snag or come loose. I have another on a Marlin 336 30-30 and it works just as well. An excellent and cheap up-grade.

Buyers Beware (2014-07-22)

Even though the SPECs claim that it will fit a Marlin 1894, it wasn't even close. It cost me almost as much in shipping it both ways as to just keeping the worthless screw.

Got screwed! (2015-01-28)

Very poor quality manufacture. Starting thread is not correct. Flat headed end for threading. OEM's utilize a slightly pointed starting end for ease of starting into female thread. These threads are oversized and stretched the original hole size as the original screw now has a loose fit. It originally was slightly snug. Starting threads are too thick due to the flat end on this screw. I would expect this quality from China, but not Brownell. Will not waste time in making purchases here again. Firearms deserve quality parts and this is far from that.

This screw may not fit your 336. It didn't fit mine when it arrived at my place two days ago. It is the wrong size thread, and is an issue that these screws from Brownells have had for more than a few years now. If you force the screw you can damage the threads in your rifle. Search the product name online and you'll see it's a recognised problem, and better screws can be had elsewhere.
