Easy upgrade(2010-10-17)
This replacement spring is the easiest way to improve trigger pull--most pronounced improvement in double action. Single action feels quite similar, but in DA the hammer just rolls back. It's a factory part and as such is totally reliable--after several hundred rounds using a standard hammer there have been no problems.
Get the D Spring(2011-01-26)
I have 5 Beretta 92 variants with a "D" spring in them now. One has 3,000 rounds thru it. Works great. My SA pull is just over 4 lbs and the DA pull is about 8lbs and 6 oz.
This spring is DEFINITELY worth it. Super simple way to adjust your heavy double action trigger pull without any mods other than a spring change. And, this is the spring that comes in the DAO Berettas - so you can be confident that it causes no reliability problems...
Now I Have a Sweet DA Trigger!(2011-09-19)
I installed this spring in my 90-Two/.40 & now it has a sweet trigger! The DA pull weight is now reduced by at least 4 lbs & is smooth as silk. Beretta installs these springs in their 92/96 "D" models from the factory & it's 100% reliable. The SA trigger stays about the same, but you won't belive the difference it makes on your DA pull weight.
Great(2012-02-08)
The "D" spring does a great job of lowering the DA trigger pull on the 92/M9. Doesn't change the SA pull much but the DA is night and day difference. It may cause light primer strikes with the .22 Practice kit, but after 1000rds of Wally world 9mm ammo, have not had any problems. Must have for the 92/M9
D-spring(2012-05-12)
It's great for getting the double action pull weight down and no problems with light strikes in single action. A must!
Good product(2012-05-31)
How can you go wrong with a factory replacement. Put this in my M9 to reduce trigger pull along with the wolf reduced power trigger unit (969-000-061WB) and both combined gave my gun a very nice trigger.
Huge difference(2012-07-06)
D spring makes a much smoother and light trigger pull. Well worth the money. Installed in less than five minutes.
Great Product 100% Performer(2012-11-01)
This is by far the least expensive & the easiest upgrade you can make for your 92 or 96 full size pistol! After taking about 5 minutes to install, you'll end up with a smooth 7-8 lb DA trigger instead of the factory 11+ lbs. It's a factory Beretta part and is 100% reliable.
Well worth the price(2013-10-31)
Instant improvement in DA trigger pull, more consistent than stock spring. Little noticeable difference in SA mode.
Night and Day(2014-01-09)
If you own a model 92/96 run out and buy this, I can not believe how much smoother and how much lighter this spring makes the trigger pull. Easy to install and a very inexpensive upgrade.
Great Product(2014-09-20)
Cheapest, easiest way to improve the usability of a Beretta 92fs.
100% reliable(2014-10-09)
I installed this spring on my Beretta 92fs. Took it to the range and fired 100 rounds of Winchester 9mm full metal jacket ammo. I had 100% firing success. Good primer hits as well.
This spring helps to lessen the trigger pull somewhat. Its not like you sent the pistol to a gunsmith and got the pull down to the last ounce of reliability. I think it is worth the investment.
Awesome Upgrade(2015-05-20)
Installs in minutes and works perfect, other wise what else needs to be said.
I got the D spring yesterday(2016-01-05)
Installed to and working good and had no problem installing it. Got it befor the estimated date.
Huge Difference(2016-01-24)
Used this to replace the heavy main spring in the 92A1. This provided significant reduction in double action trigger pull. Not a really a perceivable difference in single action. Functions as expected.
Works great, different pin on italian(2016-03-30)
As advertise this product noticeably reduces trigger pull for a crisper shot. Be aware however that the Italian made beretta's are a little more complicated to change the spring since they have a roll pin instead of a punch pin. For that reason I brought mine to a gunsmith.
Works Great(2017-02-06)
My 92 FS is Italian Made, but had no problems knocking out the pin on frame thru lanyard cap. Installed the D spring , a big difference from the factory hammer spring. Trigger pull is lighter on both single and double action.
I also added a Wilson Combat Shok-Buff. Big difference in recoil, nice and smooth.
Better than factory spring(2017-02-20)
I bought this spring to replace the factory spring in my Italian made 92S. To remove the lanyard cap on these, first punch out the pin for the mag release button then remove before punching out the roll pin. Installation was a breeze and the first thing I noticed was a reduction of trigger creep. Actual trigger pull felt slightly lighter, smoother with a more clean, crisp break. If i had another mod92, I'd buy this again.
First Upgrade(2017-05-27)
I can talk all day about trying to get the M9A1, 92FS, or other models triggers better, but the best thing for your double action is the D-spring. The factory spring is over-powered and causes a high weight trigger pull. This spring reduces trigger pull while still reliably firing rounds. 5K rounds in of all variety and this has lit every primer. For the price this needs to be your first upgrade.
Brownells always has the right stuff(2017-09-21)
Everything I've ordered has been correct and shipped in a reasonable time. Parts I have ordered. Have all been high qaulity and really are getting my firearm dialed in.
Excellent way to upgrade your 92 fs(2018-01-01)
DA trigger pull reduced noticeably, but still off my trigger gauge which goes up to 8 lbs. SA trigger pull went from 5 lbs. 5 oz. average to 4 lbs. 12 oz. average. Very easy to install. For a measly $6 why on earth would you not purchase it?
