Convenient Accessory Mounting

Lightweight, aluminum mount attaches to AR-15 handguards; gives quick, sturdy mounting for lights, forward grips, bipods and tripods. Fits standard, round, plastic, AR-15 and CAR-15 handguards without removing the heat shield. Requires removal of heat shield to fit M4 handguards. Can be attached to top or bottom handguard. Accepts Weaver-style accessories. 4" w/adapter permits use with 2" diameter aluminum float tubes, also fits standard handguard.

Too long for Magpul Carbine handguards (2010-03-12)

The 6" rail is too long for the Magpul MOE Carbine length handguards - the handguard only allows for about a 5 3/8" rail the way it is molded. If you need a full length rail for this handguard, you could certainly chop it down and have it fit. In my particular case, I chose to go with the 4" which the Magpul AFG mounts perfectly fine on.

Works great! (2011-06-18)

Adapter fits perfectly on 2" freefloat handguard tube. Also, with adapter in place, makes it approx. 1/2" riser also. Hardware lets you mount it into the handguard horizontal vent holes without removing it. Good product!

Good alternative to a full rail sytem (2010-01-17)

I mounted this tiny rail segment to the bottom of my Magpul MOE stock. Fits well and simple to install. If you have a specific need and don't have lots of changes to rail items, this is a good alternative to buying a complete rail system or longer rail segment. I've mounted my GG&G vertical grip to this. Solid mount to the rail.

Falcon 4 (2010-10-03)

The rail is mounted on the Magpul carbine handguard and fits perfectly. The carbine is use for patrol work with a mounted light on it. The rail does not interfer with holding onto the forearm at all. At present, have not found any unfavorable issues with it.
