Interchangeable Inserts Let You Configure To Fit Your Hand

Mission Adaptable (MIAD) modular grip system with interchangeable inserts lets you find the grip configuration that fits your hand size and mission requirements. All models come with main grip body and detachable rubber core that holds a ½ oz. lubrication bottle in the cap. Additional cores for storing batteries and other items are available separately. Front- and backstrap inserts slide on easily, yet snap firmly into place and require no glue or screws to stay put. Comes with one straight and two different beavertail backstrap inserts, plus one straight and one finger-ledge front strap insert. Reinforced molded polymer construction. NOTE: The TYPE 1 Kit fits all AR15/M4's as well as many 7.62x51 variants such as the Aero Precision M5 308, CMMG MK3, CORE Rifle Systems CORE30, HK 417/MR762A1, LWRCI REPR, Mega Arms MATEN, POF P-308, Ruger SR-762, and SIG716.

Standard Upgrade (2017-07-04)

I love this grip and have it on a few ARs. I use the largest back strap. I've always had to file down the inside of the strap where it touches the lower receiver up near the buffer tube. The material is easy to file and hides file marks, takes maybe 5 min, but I've always had to do it with the large back strap.

Great Pistol Grip For Your AR-15/M4 (2014-08-10)

Great grip for the money. Comes with different configuration options to fit your hand. Really high quality! (typical magpul) Very easy to install, fit perfectly on my Spikes Tactical Forged lower receiver. And also looks great compared to the standard A2 grip. Would highly recommend!

Versatile, Slightly Flawed (2016-03-11)

It's hard to criticize this grip too much; with six different front- and backstrap combinations to choose from, there's bound to be something that works well enough for a given user. While the front piece can only be swapped by unscrewing the grip, the rear can be popped on or off with a flathead screwdriver with no further ado. And the addition of a great little oil bottle that stows in the grip cap was a surprisingly big plus. It should be noted, though, that the MIAD is noticably wider than the MOE, and if you prefer a nice, deep spacer at the top, you'll be stuck with a correspondingly beefy palmswell at the same time. What this means in practice is that the sizes range from medium-slim with an open top to medium-ish with a slightly filled top to very, very large with a thoroughly filled top. The angle is also a bit steeper than the newer models, preserving that of the MOE. If any of that sounds about right for you, you'll probably enjoy this grip. Otherwise, you may want to look at alternatives such as the SL series and the Bravo Company Mod 2.

Does Not Fit Colt LE-901 308 (2014-06-18)

This grip does not fit Colt LE-901 308, cannot switch attachments..don't waste your money if you have a Colt, may have difficulty with other manufacts....check and double check before you buy.

this works as advertised, you have to take it off the gun to change front/back straps. The other guy bought the wrong one, Magpul makes one for .308 guns.

Surprised Me (2015-10-03)

I bought the MIAD from my base PX for use on my .308 AR, just to see if I could use it, with intent for return. It surprised me by fitting extraordinarily well, and I continued using it. the only stipulation was a VERY small amount of filing to get it to fit the particular shape of my lower. Overall, a good purchase. Ordering the .308 version would not make much difference to me for actual function.

Run on all my ARs (2015-12-12)

I run these grips on every AR I own, and am buying more for the future builds. I find these grips to be very comfortable and easy to install on any lower I have come across thus far. I would highly recommend these grips to anyone for a new build or to replace their OEM grip. The grip pictured is mounted on a Spike's Tactical "Spartan" lower receiver.

Well made and versatile. (2015-12-18)

This was a very tight fit on my DPMS A-15 lower but I'd rather have tight then a bit sloppy. Once pushed on, the supplied bolt dropped right in and tightened down fine. I immediately swapped the back strap for one with more swell, but that's me. My wife uses the smaller back strap and that's what I wanted, now we can both use the same gun with a very quick strap change.

Disappointing Fit (2015-12-19)

This is a nice grip, but it does not fit my lowers that well (Aero Precision and Sun Devil billet). You can see daylight between the grip and the lower in both cases.

So many options... (2017-05-28)

I've put this on two different rifles, and I'm still not sure what configuration I'm really into. It is nice to be able to change the palm swell between users, or types of shooting. Great for a first build or someone with really big hands (actually any hands).

Nice, but does not fit all lowers (2017-08-25)

Two of the three included backstraps contain a "beavertail" area or palmswell at the top which effectively moves the hand rearward and allows a better trigger finger angle for those with larger hands. The problem is that these do not mate well with my lower receiver - a Bushmaster XM-15 manufactured in 2000. I'm going to have to trim a fair amount (3/16" - more or less) off of the top contour to get them to fit in place and allow the backstrap to snap all the way into place. Fortunately for me, I'm capable of performing this task. However, not all are so blessed and/or determined. Just be forewarned of this condition. Otherwise a very nice grip and concept.

Love it (2017-12-18)

This grip feels great. I like the fact that it has a small storage compartment and interchangeable grips. Just feels really comfortable
