ERGO WedgeLok Keymod Rubber Rail Covers (2015-04-21)

The BCM KMR keymod rail system is very tight, close fitting to the barrel and gas block. This may cause a lot of heat to be transferred to the rail during sustained fire. The lighter color covers are the ERGO. They are soft and pliable like their ladder rail covers. They snap into place easily and stay locked in. They create a barrier between your hands and the metal which could be hot. They also provide a gripping non slip surface. I had used another well known named brand, the taupe colored panels. While easy to install and remove the texture was too aggressive om my hands. I have never had a bad ERGO product or problem with any. I am retired 30 yr LEO, I shoot targets, pigs, coyotes or any other predator causing depredation of property.

Worst rail covers ever (2016-09-08)

I got these because they fit flat instead of wrapping like the noveske NSR Panels or the Midwest Industries panels. The have been terrible. They won't stay in even if I do get the wedge all the way in. They also don't work anywhere that has shallow space internally, such as over a gasblock.

Fits Great ! (2017-07-31)

These fit the rails quite easily if you take your time. Start at one end, press it in one key slot at a time. Press and hold until fully seated, then go on to the next key slot. If you try to force them all in at once, you'll be fighting the rail cover forever. I have a low profile gas block and the lock tabs hit the block. I trimmed the rail cover lock tabs ever so slightly and it fit perfectly. The covers take minimal room but give great gripping surface. To remove, just grab and pull. Highly recommend !

Quality and durability (2018-01-20)

I've got a keymod forend on my work shotgun and wanted some slim rail covers for the side without anything mounted. This is a perfect fit for my needs. It was extremely easy to install, holds in place during training and range time, and is surprisingly durable. I'm very happy with these and will probably pick some up for my work rifle.
