Buy the Glock one (2013-01-11)

Looked like a great product but the spring was to short and kept slipping out from under the top pin. I had to switch the spring between to old and new. The finish was nice but didn't fit the Glock color scheme, it was a very shinny black. Spend the extra couple bucks and purchase the Glock product.

Spring too short (2013-05-24)

I ended up ordering two of these. The first one had a spring so short I could look at it and tell it wasn't going to work (it didn't). The second one looked better, but it still didn't work. I'd stay away from these.

Not a good buy (2013-05-31)

I purchased one of these a while back. When I tried to use it I found that the spring was to short and would not stay under the locking block pin as required. Not worth the hassle and time to mess with. Spend a few more dollars and purchase a good one.

Big Improvement (2014-01-14)

Makes it much easier to drop the slide, makes a HUGE difference, but is a very minute addition to the gun nearly unnoticeable from a cosmetic standpoint. Great Addition to a Glock should be factory.

Good quality, prefer over factory (2014-01-24)

I've used 2 of these. One on a 21SF duty gun that worked perfectly and now I put one on my new Glock 41, also works perfectly. I'm a Glock Advanced Armorer also. This Lone Wolf version has a much better finish than the factory version. I have not encountered any of the problems some of the other reviews on here had, makes me wonder if they're all from the same person... Good part in my experience

Good and simple (2014-10-17)

I installed this slide release on my brand new glock 22 gen 4 and it was a easy installation, I compared the slide spring length to the original glock slide release spring and they were same length(I checked this becouse of bad reviews saying it was too short and caused the slide to always lock back, possibly a bad batch?), the spring almost seems more stiff that the stock one. It was a major improvement over the stock slide release, I can now operate the slide with ease. I do like the gloss black finish.

Big improvement, little change. (2016-03-08)

Quick and easy to install. Just enough extension to make a world of difference. Nice finish, we will see how it holds up.

Another Chosen Upgrade (2017-08-28)

I installed this on my Glock 29 Gen 4. The part looks great; functions as it should; and provides an extended portion to allow easier function of the slide lock. I'm not really sure whether these other folks were installing the part correctly. My firearm is a "large frame." Restated, the part functions flawlessly. When you install this, the spring fits under the smaller retaining pin and the groove built into the pistol. Too easy. Very pleased!
