Nice concept, QC could be better. (2018-07-21)

I had about 700 223 cases that were trimmed, but needed a light inside/outside chamfer. The thought of doing that many by had was daunting, so when I saw this gadget on sale for $35 I jumped at it. I charged it overnight and the next day started using it, but was disappointed that I could only get about 200 cases done before the batter had to be recharged. I eventually took the dual head off and trying to turn it by hand and it was VERY stiff, which I suspected was the issue with the battery running down so quickly. So I contacted Brownell who weren't much help and I contacted Hornaday, who sent me a free return sticker, and who very quickly sent me a new unit free of charge. The new unit duo head turned very easily, and while I have not given the new one a thorough work out I think it will be ok. I only gave four stars because of the QC issue, and because you cannot run this unit while plugged into a charger or external power source. For $35 dollars (and free shipping when you can get it), I do think this is a good buy. Just be sure to check out how easily the duo head turns before you try to use it.
